What a fabulous way to end the summer! I thought all I had to look forward to was getting back to the ol' grind, but WE GET A VACATION! Ahhhhhh!!!!

I've never been on a cruise but I think it might be worth checking out. They're not very common here though, most people like staying on land more.
I hope the Toucan Cruise has pengwings!! I miss them so much and they're absolutely adorable. /o/

I wholeheartedly feel the 'not dying' option.
I've been on a cruise before when I was little, thankfully before I watched the titanic-- but I mostly got ill/seasick and stayed in all the time. :'D

I've been on a boat but never on a cruise...but I hear wonderful things about them...people I know have gone to Alaska on a cruise and relatives have gone to the Caribbean. The ships are gigantic - not like a ferry boat (which are big).

after all...there haven't been that many cruises that have collided with large objects...or sunk....and those that get sick generally recover...now someone plotting to kill you (like the husband who killed his wife on a cruise recently -cooped up in a small cabin?) is another story... so why would you pick not dying?

AHH!! A CRUISE!!!!!

I went on one not too long ago. With all the activities you could do on board, you kinda forgot you were on a gigantic ship sailing the seven seas sometimes! Not gonna lie though, the first 3 days were disgusting b/c I, who assumed I was immune to seasickness, ironically got seasick. It was a lot better though once we were off the rough ocean seas and sailed closer to the islands we'd be docked at.

Lots and lots of old people though, but they were, for the most part, funny and sweet and just spending the rest of their retirement by cruising around the world.

Wasn't the Titanic considered an Ocean liner rather then a cruise ship?

One of the people I know who went on a cruise recently had purchased the cheapest bottom cabin but when she arrived they had rented out her cabin so they bumped her up to the penthouse AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!! Now THAT is how I'd like to take a cruise.

I took a 14-day cruise around the Caribbean for my bday when I was 10-ish and our room was on the 8th floor, while my friend & her family's room was on the 3rd floor. I did NOT enjoy sleeping over in her room since the bottom-most rooms are where you REALLY feel the waves
