Do you like when event items are available post-event?

Yea you could I guess. ^^ But what if not many people bought duplicates? I know last year there was only 3 backgrounds but they only totalled in 2500 feathers while this year was twice the amount. Perhaps people would be less willing to trade away (like me lol.)

I sure would hesitate a whole lot before I think about trading away one of the backgrounds, lol. Only because I spent all of my savings mostly on the backgrounds.

Personally, I like being able to grab the items post-event, since
I've got so many things I involve myself with on a regular basis;
There are just those events I can't participate in as they're happening.
However, I have an irrational need to hoard things,
and being given an opportunity to do so is something I'm for,
even if it decreases the value a bit.

i didn't participate much in the event because i knew i could buy the items later (and really busy with school this quarter >__<). i think a good trade-off might be to price the event items a bit higher; so if there was something you really wanted but just couldn't get due to rng you could pick it up, or if you missed the event altogether you could still pick up a few things that you liked.

i don't think old event items should be re-released. if the old items become too scarce, maybe you could have an event (maybe attic or garage-sale themed) based around the re-release of old items?

it might be cool to be able to purchase any past items with wings as well. (might encourage users to buy wings and help support windlyn~) maybe you could have a shop that rotates out the old/retired items monthly or something.

I agree with Ciel on the old event items in the Diamond shop for wings. I would donate to get the items I missed. I know it doesn't really encourage chatting, but I believe that's what people would do anyways on an avatar site. And I guess you guys could really use some donations right?

No. Making items available exclusively during an event increases activity during that event. So far items in the shops have been pretty cheap and if items are available for a limited time only, that drives up their value. This means users would have to interact more to be able to afford the items they desire that aren't always available. In short, it would encourage activity on the site. Users have incentive to participate in events and visit the site and really, having items on hand at all times defeats the entire purpose of having an event.

I like when some past items get cycled through with current events. Every so often a handful of event items from a past event will pop in to the shops with the current event. It makes for keeping the items that may have a lower quantity re-circulating in the community.
