what i've found is "socially acceptable" in my area (in degrees Fahrenheit)

light jacket/sweater - "chilly weather" 50's - low 60's
coat/jacket "acceptable" - 40's - low 50's
the "dude, it's nice outside what are you wearing that?" - mid to high 60's & 70's
heavy coat/jacket - 30's and below

I love fall, the colors of the trees, the cooler weather(as long as it doesn't drop too low) and Halloween! I went with Halloween costumes because although I love candy-bars I can eat those anytime. I love opportunists to dress up especially in costumes. I just hope I'm not asleep when the trick-or-treaters come by!

what's great about October is the "freshness" after the rain...everything dead from the summer heat is revived and once again we bask in the bright colors of green and golden fall colors of turning leaves.

Halloween is my most fave thing of October. People come up with some really creative costumes like a dwarf carrying a man.

ughhh I need a costume for tomorrow but I don't have anything on hand, so it looks like I'm gonna have to closet DIY this year - fun but also stressful

The leaves have started changing colors in my area and I love how they look when the sun hits them just right (around early sunrise and 5/6 pm). Ah man, imagine how they'd look in the Shenandoah Valley omg
