I used that one , someone you can count on, that you recommended last year - I should have done it this year too! Gosh darn it! People thought it was so clever and I let them know a friend told me about it.

We just need to keep an ongoing list of awesome costumes we find. I seriously considered being the Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story, but didn't get a lamp shade. I could still do it for Christmas though...

So I ended up going as a "zombie hipster" (turns out I have a lot of worn out/torn "hipster" clothing that I haven't worn in forever). Some of the costumes were politically fueled/inspired like, one of my friends and his girlfriend went as Donald Trump & Hillary Clinton (they did a mock debate - it was funny & cute) and some guy taped a "Hillary for Prison" sign onto his shirt.

Highlight of the costume contest though was the Donald Trump impersonation! He could really give Alec Baldwin a run for his money :0

i knew the candy was on sale and usually would go get some, but i forgot about the costumes.
i usually make my own though o3o i like to sew~
this year i didn't make anything though ;__; just wore my optimus prime helmet LOL

To help you feel better...often the good costumes are sold out before they go on clearance, but if you look you can sometimes find some. Not sure if they are on major discounts online or not.

I looked through the clearance costumes at my local Target and they weren't that great. Early Bird gets the worm and all. I did get a plain witch's hat for .90c though!

ya, there were some star wars costumes at a local store and I was in a hurry and then when I went back a couple days later they were all gone
