They do get kinda chatty, since they aren't as light as flipflips
So to keep them from clattering while going up or down stairs, ya gotta point your toes to keep the back up with your help

Ah, I know what you mean, flip flops can be very noisy. I had tried to walk in flip flops without making much noise when I've worn them. I somehow think those would be a little less annoying though.
