Um, hi! Oh dear, that sounds stupid. Um, how about I try again.

Welcome! To A Sweet Soirée, A Bittersweet Smile! This is a public RP, that takes place in the Regency Era, or something similar. Basically it's about different members of the nobility, all attending a Soirée at someone's mansion. People will meet, fall in love, and uncover secrets about each other! Everyone can join in, and come up with their own characters. The few requirements for the characters are as follows; they must be young debutees to the Soirée scene, or returning to it, but either way, be someone who it is plausible for them to attend a soirée, they must be single, so as to fall in love, they must have some secrets, or some backstory, they must have faults and good points, they must be part of the nobility. That is all. Please join. It'll be a lonely soirée if no one joins.

My character; Madeleine Everard. A sweet, young debutee to the Society. This is her first time at a Soirée. She has brown, shoulder length hair, pale blue eyes that you could lose yourself in, and small, yet inviting lips. She's of average height for her age, with a slender body, slender arms and legs, and an innocent, round face. Young and beautiful, she turns heads for her beauty, but unfortunately, the heads turn away again as soon as she opens her mouth. After all, all she talks about is books! Books and facts! And of course, during this period of time, no one wants a female to talk about those things. She is the daughter of a Marquis, and a Marchioness. The eldest daughter, with a younger sister, and two older brothers, one of which is already married, and the other is courting a Duchess, with talks of marriage in the air. Her parents are worried that she won't be a big enough hit I the Society, because of her interests, and it looks like they're right! She tries to stay positive, but she is a little down because of it. She's also worried because she's not sure she wants to have admirers anyways, at least not yet. She's not sure she's ready for that. And she's not sure she's ready to be courted, she only wants to be courted by "The One", and she doesn't want anyone else to try. But how will she know who "The One" is!?
