Mid week update!

You may have noticed in the past, that if you searched anything in the forums, you would be told that no matches were found. The way we were indexing posts before was stupid and ended up using up too much memory, so we disabled the whole feature. I worked it out, and searching is now re-enabled. Go ahead and give it a go!


The mentions system (pinging) also got an update.

You no longer need to add a space before your '@' (at-symbol), but it's still a pretty good idea, regardless

if the username you entered doesn't exist it will no longer modify your post.

Usernames of pinged users will actually link to their profile, using their userid, so the profile will be interactive.

For names with spaces in them, you MUST use quotes, but for one word names, you do not need them.
