Other than not going into your house... air filters only help somewhat, but it'd have to move a lot of air to be effective. Those clean rooms (where semiconductors are made for example) have a huge amount of air being filtered at all times. They're climate controlled as well. It's really difficult to achieve--dust is just a fact of life and we'll never escape it (it's a problem on the space station as well).
