I listen to mostly rock/alternative and instrumental music.

Stuff like:
God is an Astronaut, Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai. All of which I discovered thanks to the internet.
Strata, Evans Blue(Early albums), Chevelle and also Nine Inch Nails, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach.
30 Seconds to Mars, Muse and My Chemical Romance.
Billy Talent, The Prodigy, Blink 182.
Pink Floyd, Queen, Tears for Fears.

and plenty of others but I think that gives a good impression. I also like Jrock and some Jpop but I haven't listened to much of it lately.

As for favorite song, ugh I can't choose. Though growing up I really liked R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion.

I have too many faves, and they all come from a variety of genres. (If it sounds nice, I'm putting it on my playlist lol.)

But this one has stuck with me the longest: Norihiro Tsuru - Last Carnival. ( Acoustic Cafe )
It has that whimsical, dancey feeling that reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle, and I love that movie so much.

I don't even know what I have on my old iPod Nano anymore.
Linkin Park, Panic, Twenty One Pilots, Muse, Tokio Hotel, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and some other stuff. Pretty much if some people classify it as "emo" I most likely have listened to it. (This is also not a phase, I genuinely like all the lead singer voices and the sound of the music.) I'm also a little too obsessed with the RWBY soundtracks. (I'm a small gay emo.) And on notes of other bands and singers I like based on their voice... I like Owl City and Rachel Platten. I think they sound cute.
Lindsey Stirling and Trans Siberian Orchestra are also pretty great. Electrical wise, I'm not that much into it, but I did like Cole Plante (also the fact that he is an adorable nerd) and Porter Robinson.
Bach and Beethoven are cool.
Yeah... I like a wide range of stuff.

I've been digging FRIENDS by Marshmello and Anne-Marie for the past week though mostly because a friend of mine has this creepy guy who's a friend of a friend of a friend sorta stalking her/attempting to slide into her DM's. I told her maybe she should text him the song without context to get her message across xD
