St.Patrick was not actually officially canonized by the Catholic church because when he was alive they never did that, he just got that title centuries later. He was a slave in Ireland as a youth, something I never would have connected- slavery with the united kingdom - but I guess it happened everywhere. He did escape but returned to Ireland to preach the gospel. He must really have had a heart for the Irish to go back.
Hope you did something special to celebrate your birthday!
Thank you Lemon!!! *hugs* Yes I went out to shop when there was a sale but didn't get anything (items were mostly high still even with discounts even earrings which I tried to get) but did receive a beautiful birthday card and watched a movie with a friend named Mercy, we watched a Tigger movie. It was precious.
Happy First day of Spring! (Or autumn if you are on the otherside of the world)
"The vernal equinox arrives on Thursday, marking the start of the spring season for the Northern Hemisphere and the fall in the Southern Hemisphere. On the equator, the sun will be directly overhead at noon. Equinoxes are the only time when both the north and south poles are lit by sunshine at the same time."
