it was from about 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST. kept getting an error message saying dns_probe_finished_nxdomain when trying to access windlyn online.

I saw your reply last night, so didn't get to check the logs until now. I don't see anything in the logs, but using google=fu I found that the dns_probe_finished_nxdomain error is typically not a server side error. Here is good info on how to fix it:

it situation only happened once so it's fine now, it was just weird that I kept getting it at the time.
