There was no lunar new year celebration here... but it was beautiful in the largest city nearby.

I was at the funeral of my grandma this weekend, so... a bit sad. But I also got to do some stuff with my sister's family and that was fun.

Akuyi- funeral's are always "bitter-sweet" , it is a sad occasion because you feel the loss but on the other hand you often get to see people you haven't seen in awhile and often learn things about the recently departed person that you didn't know before, see photos of them you hadn't and hear how they touched other people's lives. When I go I hope that my life has touched enough people that my "funeral" would be more of a celebration of my life. (Guess I better get started in touching people's lives in a positive way then!)
