There are so many items in the shops now I would think it would take awhile for new members to save up to buy them all. Event items are limited editions...sometimes we see them reappear in events later on...so get them when you can.

If a member posts items in their shops that you like... take them up on it...chances you may not see them again.

...is there a pricing guide? I genuinely have no idea what a feather is worth.

Not sure what you mean...each feather is worth one...hmmm penny? maybe a dollar? A background is 1000 feathers but an item could be like 5 feathers (depending on how difficult it was to draw or color I think).

Each item in the shop has the amount it costs...and now it tells you if you own it already and how many you have of it (that wasn't always the case).

Members sell items depending on how valuable it is and what it may have cost them to purchase it. If you want to know the worth of an item you can go to the pawn shop and enter the item in to see how much you would get for it. But other then some of the star pond fishing items I would not turn them in as once they are gone they are gone and a new member may be able to use it.

Some of the items we got for free...like the meteor background on my avatar is from star pond fishing...some are part of a masterpiece art work set and others were from events. Generally about 1000 feathers is a going rate but if a member has extra's that they got in an event they may sell it for less.

Check out the yard sale shops on the forums page and Private Message the person as well as post in their thread. The people with shops have been on a hiatus for the summer so it may take awhile to get back to you. But Kitalpha Hart has Lianna's accou nt and she is on. I think she does a $250 grab bag but she may have a background.

I use my extra's as prizes.
