Work really gave me and my colleagues a fright today! When we came in we saw that the Directors had a big announcement to make. Last time that happened, a few years ago, a third of the company got laid off.

Turns out the company is relocating 7 miles up the road next year. Our jobs are safe. Phew

I think that's the plan because there's a warehouse attached to the office bit and that's where the printing department is going.

It'll be a slight improvement to the commute. At the moment I drive my fiancé to a train station and then go to work. At the new place there's a train station right next door. So this will shave off 20 mins off my daily commute. I'll still have to wait around after work to pick him up but I'll have time to go running then.

Commute is the word that was eluding me!

I’m glad the expansion won’t lengthen your commute. One of my friend’s workplaces moved, and she had to move. The upside is she now lives in a larger and more affordable place.
