R4: under the "mark" column, to the right of your messages, check the messages you want to delete.

Scroll to the bottom. click the down arrow on "Mark/unmark as important", choose "delete marked" and press "go"

It will ask you if you want to delete marked messages, choose yes.

OR if you want to delete all: then choose mark all & delete.

On the left side under "inbox" there is also an overflow file you can set up.
