Awwwwwww, that's so cute of you to say!! I love that you're willing to do such, difficult or not!!! Proves you were a good hire!!! I can only hope that my future employers see the same greatness in me, hmmm? That's pretty awful actually, especially for a single mother or father type deal or any other prominent problem like that... If only the government could see better what their people need/want. Ahhhh, what a almost fallen and forgotten dream, that is.

oh, you can use children as a reason to be excused from jury duty. And if your work does not pay you your wage while you do jury duty then you can use loss of finances as a hardship. Honestly, I'd have no problem getting paid to do jury duty ...just not during a busy season or if work couldn't line up a temporary replacement. Not getting paid however would be a financial hardship. Learned a few things from other people's experiences.

I love that!!! That's great for people who can't afford babysitters that day or if you're one for a family member then!!! I think a lot of people wouldn't have an issue with getting paid for it, hahaha. Getting appointed during a bad time or needed time would be tremendously hard on anyone, I'm sure. Especially if they wanted to work really hard for a new thing or try a new reasoning out.

I wish when new management come into a position that they would think through all repercussions of changing what already exists and is working fine AND ASK those of us that will have to use the new system whether we think it will work or not BEFORE they make the changes.

Ahhhhh, such a forgotten but longed for dream. We can only hope that we as humans can bring that dream to life through words, actions, and hope.

its nice to be finally get upgrades we've been asking for...even better when they actually work...been down the long road of cutbacks...gone along with schedule changes to meet budget and have no choice but to go along with the changes and make them work... I just wish those in management would look at the "big Picture" or the long term result/repurcussions their decisions make not how it looks on paper. Because in real life there are a lot of circumstances that arise that aren't accounted for in paper planning (unless its a seasoned manager, and they may take it under consdideration/advisement).

Same thing as voters...most don't read through all the material or research the facts and instead of not voting for something they haven't researched they vote how they think it sounds and the rest of us have to live with it.

Can you tell I'm a little peeved?

I try to make a difference where I am at and sometimes that's all you can do. I'm being paid to do a job and my job isn't management so really I have no say since they are paying me to complete tasks that they have given me. (It's like a t.v. game show though where they keep throwing curve balls at you to see if you can make it to the end).

Oh, I'm completely sure it is!!! It feels amazing when your voice has finally been heard!!! Like during the Civil War when a side finally won or with all the protests and breaking down of people in the past, when they worked.. I haven't actually had a job yet so I have no idea how it feels to be cut back because of company losses and budged issues but I imagine it feels amazingly bad, especially if one has big family or a huge commitment to get back home to, hmmm.... There are several things us "humans" wish for daily, it's quite saddening but also gives most of us a huge will to fight against it and I love that!!! That we feel the need to actually make the change and make it right, eeeeeeeeek!!! Ahhhh yessss, that is a huge issue!!! I,myself, have a major issue with all those commercials coming out saying things like "voting matters" or "go on and vote", like why are we being pressured for it so hard??? The harder you push it on someone, the more they push away from it! Yes it is, but I believe that every little bit matters and it definitely will in the end.. But it seems as if you're strong enough to overcome all those issues and obstacles, that must be a big reason why you are still there!!

your vote could make a difference...and its a chance to get heard...but I believe that people should make informed decisions if they are going to vote and the way some of the propositions etc are worded there needs to be a lot of study/research to figure out the facts.

I'm just taking one day at a time. Today was a screw up so hopefully they will just give us back our regular schedule if it keps on this way. No one in management seems to know what is going on or who made the changes.

Yes it very much could but that doesn't mean the government should allow other people to shove it down our throats and get away with it. That'd be like preaching for a religion overly much or my being a vegetarian overly so. The reason people aren't too fond of it these days is precisely for the reason you have mentioned, they think it doesn't matter and that they should choose whoever based on nothing. Could being the greatest word there but we shouldn't be forced to do it on all opinions and no actual facts.. I do agree that people should do their research and really think before they do something but I also believe in choices and compromise. I fully believe these 30-45 second things of "vote, vote, vote, if you know what's good for you!!" is utterly one of the worst ways to persuade people to do it. That's how it should be, as that is how life decided to grant us so in this age and era!! I'd hope for the best, expect the worst, and move straight on in any case, have to be extremely strong!

every country is different regarding how votes count and some of it I really don't understand. I wish that politics would keep things more straight forward and make what you are voting for easier to figure out.

Advertisement is mainly directed towards the people that have not researched the facts, hoping if they get a name or proposition out there that when the voters go to vote that particular name will sound familiar to the voter. I agree with being able to meet the candidate and have your questions answered not having stuff shoved at you.

Today was another delay at work but it looks like our manager is at least pushing our concerns up the ladder, so to speak. Not sure if it will makie a difference but we can hope! Sometimes if you keep presenting the facts someone listens.

I'm so glad things are going so well for you now!!! I believe in uniting and that some rules and laws should be the same in all countries myself! I think all countries could be the nicest and the kindest and we could all work together if we really tried!! I prefer to say all the time, it keeps my belief up. <3 <3 <3 <3

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!!! I'll have to see what mine is because to be honest.... It's hard on everyone to adjust to the fact I don't eat meat or dairy. But that's okay because I'm doing the right thing and I know I am. <3 <3 <3 <3
