You should probably include (in the question about when we first had gender discrimination) earlier than ten years old. Most of the problems today start with childrens toys; girls are targeted to get things pink and dainty, and boys get all the cool science toys.

If you want to take your paper or project or whatever it is in the "girls in computer science" direction, I can throw information at you. haha. C:

Diana I know what you mean. It's frustrating since you want cool toys that are marketed for the gender you feel you are but you get the ones that people see your body as. Though dolls weren't totally horrible I just wanted video games more. :lol:

I had that choice while I was making the survey, but my teacher said to remove it bc a kid wouldn't know what is discrimination and not. I mean uh sure they wouldn't get it right away but will realize once they're older, but like my teacher wouldn't listen. :<
