I can't believe there isn't a thread about any of the Final Fantasy games.

This is for any game in the Final Fantasy series and sequels, spinoffs and any game with "Final Fantasy" in the title. So from the original Final Fantasy through to Final Fantasy XV to Final Fantasy Tactics and World of Final Fantasy to even the mobile games Record Keeper and Final Fantasy Exvius. Let's Discuss this great series!

1-6, 12, tactics, tactics advance, record keeper, crystal chronicles, chocobo mystery dungeon, the two DS FFCC spin-offs
Hell, on Flight Rising I'm aiming to have a chocobo :')
V holds a special place in my heart cuz it's the first one I really ever got to play for any length of time, and it's delightfully comical. It doesn't take itself seriously
Keep in mind that I've only ever actually beaten IV and V
Oh, there's also Dimensions, and a tower defense FF. Former I only got to chapter two before I got sidetracked. The TD requires buying each level and nah

I played 7 and a bit of 13! It's been a long time though so I don't remember anyone. haha I guess my favourite character is Cloud because I know his name?

I played some kingdom hearts too, does that count? I currently play KHUx, if anyone here does you should join my party.

Moogles are definitely the cutest!!!! I love the little antenna.

I haven't heard of the tower defense one. Is that a mobile game?
I found FFV slow and wasn't motivated to finish it but that was probably cause I had already played quite a few RPGs by the time I got to play it.
FFIV was a good game. FFVI is my favorite despite it being tough in the late game. IX is a nice throwback to the earlier FF games.

Yeah, the TD and Dimensions are both mobile
Dimensions you get the first chapter free, but every chapter other you need to pay for
I had money at the time, so I just bought all the chapters all at once

I'd say Kingdom Hearts is it's own series. I haven't played any of it yet but plan on getting the remasters for the PS4 that will be coming out in March. Probably wont be getting them that soon though.

No I don't think I did. I don't think I was that much further than after getting Krile.

I didn't bother painful for any of the TD levels
Dimensions was all right, but it starts slow. You called V slow, Dimensions is slower

There was an event in Exvius and I got Excalipoo each time I fought him.

There's a trick, at least in V, that makes Excalipoor extremely powerful. Can't remember how tho

I tried playing 7, 8, 9, and X-1. I have X-2 and 15 as well but haven't touched those yet.

I like the gameplay of Final Fantasy well enough. I actually like turn based RPGs more than action games.
But I never particularly favored FF stories nor characters. To me, they're pretty bland and I actually disliked 8 because of Rinoa and Squall.

I know that's most probably an unpopular opinion but those are my honest thoughts. I plan to try FF15 though because people say it's the game that can hook non-FF fans.

Oh and for favorite character, I like Zidane the most. I played 9 long ago so I don't remember much but I do remember liking Zidane.
