And it's a major part of the game.
Besides with a bed and some chests dying doesn't matter much you know.

i know but in the end like id rather focus on building my stuff rather than oh no its night time ive either got to go sleep or keep a look out for monsters etc

True, but it can be a pain in the keester. I like both creative and survival. When I wanna build, survival can be tedious, when I wanna actually well.. Explore and survive, creative can get boring. Sometimes I play a bit of both. I'll play survival but fly around until I find a place I like, and if I'm feeling like it, I'll just build myself a pretty house, or experiment with some architecture. Then if I wanna actually play, I'll switch game modes and just explore and build while I live in said house. <3

I have never had the need for creative, i can do everything in survival just as easy.
The only enemy that is bothersome is lava xD

Ack, lava! What a pain that is! When I have an inventory full of items, and I accidentally touch it and feel that "tap, tap, tap" noise when your screen shakes slightly, I panic. Lol! Then I die.

also can you switch from creative to survival within a world? i didnt know that

Well in singleplayer you can just press a button i think?
It's rather easy and obvious

well i havent been on creative for a fairly long time so its not really something ive missed

I tend to just dig and dig or 'jump' and 'jump' if I'm playing on my ovvn, that and making vveird as frig looking houses.
