You won't get it till the sixth gym but you don't have to fight the gym leader just go to Celestial Tower to talk to Professor Juniper and she gives it to you.

Yes you do but when you get it then it's like the holy grail of items!

Honestly, I find the exp. share to be more of a holy grail, even more so in Y and alpha Saphire.

I like the Exp share in the 6th gen but not in the 5th gen. Since it Splits the Exp of the Pokemon that is fighting to the one that is not fighting. It royally sucks and it's like the same as if I swapped out the weaker pokemon anyway. If I'm fighting a Pokemon the main Pokemon should get the Full Amount of Exp that it earned with the Lucky Egg on and the one with the Exp share getting Half of that.

It's very useful for wedlokes though, since pokemon play in pairs, say you have a really weak pokemon then a stronger pokemon for the pair, it becomes easier to train both at once, I abuse it, because I don't need to switch in allowing whatever I'm fighting to get in an extra hit which could mean, life or death. Always, always try to limit the number of times your hit in a Wedloke, more so than a Nuzzloke. xD

Haha that is true. When I did try to do a Wedlocke before I had the perfect Pair of Fire to Grass partners. Grass can kill the Water, Rock, and Ground that Fire is weak too. The Fire can get the flying, bugs, poison, and ice that grass is weak to. They covered each other which was really awesome!

It's hard to get a good combination together, and you end up having to work with what you get, which makes it stupid hard to do something with.

Yeah sometimes your lucky and sometimes the combos suck! You do what you can with what you get though.

Eh, sometimes you can get a great combo, but it's just not one you'd want to use against some people, kinda like how I dn't think I want to use two of my teams when trying to get the bolt badge.

True you never know when something will be a good combo.

Longspur evolved, I swear I hate how Unfezant looks. It's so.... urgh.
