I'm waiting on my first doll, Wish by Doll Leaves and he's coming with a Kira head (faced up) from the XMas event last year. But I desperately want Douglas of Doll Chateau and may consider selling Wish for him, but probably not.

Also hi, I'm new here.

Anyway, I have a book about BJDs coming in on Sat that I'm excited for. Hopefully it'll help me decide on what kind to get

Oh? What is the book focused on?

In other news. Out of uni and on to making masses of bjd clothes for my Etsy shop.

That... is quite the creative way to make money in this hobby. Considering all this and more info is online for free in many versions.

Some people prefer hard copies
Others can't afford the price of being online 24/7, especially when videos get involved
Plus staring at a screen hurts faster than staring at a book

And if you need to swuish a fly, less damage to a book than a device

I like books because you don't need internet access to view them and I enjoy flipping through pages but I have to admit the internet has made it very accessible to get information without having to flip through a whole bunch of pages! But if I find useful info, or a book I like to read, then I do like to have it in hard copy :cheer:

That said books do not sell as well as they use to because so much is free over the air and you really do have to promote them to make money. Same thing as movies I think, why buy a dvd when you can stream it anytime - even if you pay $1 each time you watch it it still ends up cheaper then buying the DVD.

$1 per streamed move, at least $15 per gig over data limit ._.
And seeing as streaming is a gig an hour here and most movies are at least two...
