Anyone? I really love making colorful paper beads. Ever since I did a lesson plan for kids on how to make them I've become obsessed with them. I'll post some of my beads later.

Nope. I just use a tooth pick to wrap them around, some clear drying glue (but I prefer mog podge, and some markers of your choice to color on white paper. Then I cut them out in strips and start wrapping! xD
I use computer paper Lemon. I've never used wrapping paper, but I have used clippings from a magazine once before and it worked alright. I think you could use wrapping paper, because magazine paper is about similar thickness.
They're lightweight. haha Being made of paper they don't get really heavy. The longer ones my boyfriend actually wrapped. I like the smaller ones which are good for bracelets. That's a really good idea to make earrings out of them! I might try that later this week.
