Found the shop before the dolls XD
But since I don't know the exact size she'll be, I'd rather she came with clothes
I wonder if I could get mom to crochet some

Hopefully she sees how much enjoyment you get out of the doll and then doesn't mind so much.... what is the resale value? Will she be ok with it if she knows you can get your money back if you needed to sell?

But if I can get my webcomic launched which hit a delay because of her and/or I start getting commissions going, I'll have an income and she can't complain

Lemon, depending on the buyer, you can almost get the money back in about 90% range? Depends on what you do to the doll and what you sell with it. Like a face-up by a popular artist would make the doll more expensive than it was originally.
