It did. Most plays are not memorable, even if they were good. I see an average 2 a year and have being doing so since about 2014. I only remember about 7? I've seen.

How's everyone's reading/watching going? :)

Well, it's the last day for Victober tomorrow. I managed to finish Middlemarch by George Eliot last night. I think I have found a new favourite Victorian author. I just love her writing style and story telling. With that I completed my challenge list.

Thanks to all who took part. :) It was nice to chat about what people were watching and reading.

What did you watch after Dombey and Son? I'll host it again next year. :)

By the way, Vivianne is hosting a NaNoWriMo group for November. It will be interesting to see what see comes up with. :)

Happy Victober everyone! I'm starting the month by listening to Shirley by Charlotte Brontë. Did you know that Shirley was once considered to be a male name? The titular character of the novel is a daughter of a couple who were expecting a boy. They called her Shirley anyway. The name Shirley became distinctively female with the novel's popularity.

I love that tid bit! I had no idea! But I do know there are names we now consider feminine but at one time were male names.

I love your tribute to Vivianne for Victober,MissAutumn! I'm going to look for some period pieces to watch!

Haha nice galled. Random but that line always reminds me of this budgie: https://youtu.be/GOvyUVuKS10

I'm going to find some of the works that Vivianne read last year. I'll post links when I have time.

And interesting enough isn't that actors name Leslie? Leslie is now considered a woman's name! I knew a guy named Tracey.

Yall's sweetness made me and my friends teared up lol

Tbh I'm not a fan of Victorian novels, but I'd spread the word so that more people can join too! Know some friends that are real bookworms and would enjoy a good Victorian book. Vivianne sounds like a really cool person, it's so nice of ya to do this. Also her pets haven't been played with for quite some time, she'll have a free daily pet incubation/play service from me >8D
Thanks for letting us know of this kind soul!
