The Claidi Journals

Postby Kitalpha Hart » Mon Oct 21, 2019 10:13 am

Anyone here hear of them?
I've had the quartet for a long time, and I'm currently rereading it again

Idk how spoilery my synopsis is gonna get so imma spoiler it
[+] SPOILER
The Claidi Journals follows Claidi as she goes from a place where being a maid is little better than being a slave to places she never knew existed, meeting all sorts of people and machinery in the process. Science exists, as does technology, but people often refer to it as magic, or as Claidi puts it, "science-magic"

The title sounds very familiar. I may have read it years ago, but I only have a vague recollection. I’ll try to reread it to discuss it. :D

Wolf Tower, Wolf Star, Wolf Queen, Wolf Wing
Any of those ring a bell? Those are the specific titles in order

Yes, definitely. I read at least the first. I wanted to reread them for a while, but couldn’t remember the titles, so thank you!

Glad to help
I'm currently on Wolf Tower, so if you find them quickly we can talk about the events at the same time as we read them

Rats, can’t find ebook copies. I physically can’t deal with paperbacks. Looks like I’ll revisit my childhood somehow else...

Can't deal with physical copies?
Of my four, Tower's the only paperback, the other three are hardcover

I can’t turn physical pages or hold books open. One of my hands doesn’t work.

I hope you enjoy the series!

OOF
I think there's things out there to help with that but I'm not 100% sure as to how good they are
Here's hoping there's an electronic version hidden somewhere

I found the British version as an ebook. Naturally, it’s not available through my library.
