Was expecting Bill to show up too but I guess next epp. A lot of the theories I've read said something similar.

Well there's hints earlier that Stan may've had to do something with the author. As Dipper said it was right under there noses.
Now I've got a whole lot of other questions.
Also Bill's my fav too.
