It was really disappointing. It was basically PINOCHIO. It's a shame because I liked DISTRICT 9 and thought that ELYSIUM was OK (and I typically root for the non-Hollywood up-and-comers because they are the ones that aren't doing the same-old, same-old/re-make), but this was definitely a recommend skip.

Yes, I really liked District 9. I've never seen Elysium however. The ending bothered me so much. I'll put this under a spoiler just in case someone wants to watch it that hasn't.

He could have taken him to a hospital or that place totally would have had some sort of medical help. It was a gut wound! Why on earth was the first idea to save him to stuff his consciousness into a robot?! My boyfriend and I were so angry. lol

Hocus Pocus I couldn't agree more. Seems like directors don't like happy endings or just want to be dark for the sake of being dark.
