Will you exchange past items for readings instead of feathers? I have like only 100 feathers to spare at the moment, what will a one card reading tell me? Would it be better if I waited until I had more feathers built up and you could use more cards?

I'll do exchanges
One card readings can be pretty versatile, from a yes/no question to "how will today go" to whatever you ask
It might not be as in-depth as multiple cards, but it'll still give a general idea

Seems pretty complex. So I have to pick a deck and type of question? Which do you suggest for a newbie/first reading?

Well, the SenBasa deck is used for personality readings. Generally one's own, but I have been able to read other people's before

Shadowscapes and Manga are both tarot, but with different artists, the same card can potentially have a different answer

As for what deck and reading, it's literally up to you. You ask the question, and i get the answer from the cards
The question can be whatever you want. If you want examples, I can pull some from other locations

If you're asking as someone beginning tarot, my Shadowscapes companion book suggests drawing a card from the deck and writing down the impressions it gives you once a day

Self-reading is not recommended, as it leans to your bias, while reading for others is very likely to be a neutral third party

No, I meant for you to read for my question. OK here is the question: How will Wednesday go? I have to pick up my mom from the airport. Which deck would be good for this question?

Either tarot deck will work, and I'm assuming one card?

Let's start with manga. What does spread mean/do? Is there a typical number?

A spread will give a sort of sub-question to the card that gets placed there
The three card past preset future spread, for example
The first card represents something in the past, maybe something that's hindering you now, or something that can help you move forward
The second the present. What's going on at the moment, due to the past?
The third is the future, with a potential outcome for if nothing changes
Celtic Cross uses ten cards http://www.learntarot.com/ccross.htm
And there's one that they tell you to set aside at LEAST three hours for cuz it uses literally the entire deck
And no I will not be doing that last one, ever

And yes, it is possible for someone to create their own spread. Using Shadowscapes and SenBasa together would be an example

OK, let's do:

Manga Tarot
1 card
100 feathers per card

Question: How will Wednesday go? (I have to pick up my mom from the airport.)

Feathers sent.

Minimum. They took five hours cuz they took their time
I sure as hell ain't doing that!

Eight of Cups
Personal success but love fail
So I would say overall it'll go well, but with a potential rough spot or two

OK I think that sounds positive... we'll see how it goes.

More questions (sorry totally new at this!) :

So, I got one card read. At this point, can I go for 2 more for the 3 total or do they have to all be drawn at the same time?

For this question, what would 3 cards tell me? Or do I need to have 3 questions for a three card reading?

Thanks, Kit!

They must be drawn at the same time, so would count as a separate reading
One question, three cards. It would overall be more detailed
There are three card spreads too, such as past present future, situation problem solution, decision two choices, situation what to do what not to do

So separate reading, separate price, completely different cards
