I woke up not feeling that great. Still very achey and my throat hurts really bad, but I think my fever has gone down. I'll start working on these again tomorrow.

I went to the doctor's today. I have Strep.
I asked if the antibiotics would mess with my Crohn's and my Crohn's, but I forgot to mention my issues with menthol.

oh no, I never thought about how it could affect your crohn's! Did they do a strep swab test on you to tell for sure, or was your throat all white? because Crohn's can affect your mouth and throat with ulcers too.
If it is strep then the antibiotics should help you to feel better soon, you don't want that getting out of control. But you may have to take some probipotics.
Not sure how menthol would affect antibiotic's?

I wanted to mention my menthol allergy to get that out of the way and probably figure out a time for allergy testing. Also since some medicines have menthol in them, I should really be telling them about my inability to have menthol when they ask if I am allergic to any medicine.

I'm sorry, I forgot you mentioned you were allergic to menthol and that is in a lot of cold virus medications and cough drops. Over here you can wear medical alert bracelets or necklaces in case you get in an accident and can not verbally let people know of your allergies. Always a good idea to let the Doctor's know of anything you are allergic to or even sensitive to or that others in your family may be allergic to (like my Dad could not have iodine used on him) and that is used in prepping for surgery and dyes injected when you have tests.
