Welcome to Windlyn's Inktober thread! Come chat, draw, and enjoy yourself, be you a participant or a viewer!
First page, of course, has everything you need to know, from the rules of participating to prompts and previous years' threads and participants!
Just watch your step, there may be stray ink splattered around and I don't think all of it's dry Σ(ﾟДﾟ)

What is Drawtober? Drawtober is using ink to draw a picture and upload once a day
I can't go daily! Daily is called a "full marathon" and isn't your only choice. There is also the "half marathon" where you go every other day, and "5k" which is literally once a week. Choose whatever fits your schedule best!
I can't decide what to draw! Prompts (see next 2-3 posts) are your best friend!
Am I forced to stick to one prompt? No. I've seen people use multiple prompts, and none at all. They aren't forcing you to do anything specific
Is digital art okay? Yup!
What about actual pens? I used calligraphy pens my first year, and those are accepted. Don't see why a pen, which uses ink, wouldn't be
So why the name change? The creator of inktober is currently attempting to claim that everything made under that name is intellectually his or some weird legal mumbo jumbo it's his art now stuff, hence the name change. Obviously I cannot go through and edit every single post made, so the prior name will remain visible on older posts
