I'm making a dress up game for my flash project. Right now I'm only designing the items in ms paint (they have to be cohesive somehow). I'll upload some images soon.

aw thanks. I had to scan it and work on the rest digitally because I couldn't figure out how to proceed with my colored pencils.

it seems like you've gotten most of the linework out of the way, that's always my least favorite part haha

the roses are particularly lovely

Watery Star you're doing a good job with the fur! traditional art is always nice. i try to give my digital work that kind of feel with texture overlays

i like how you blended the colors on the fur

if you want to make drawing from references easier, a method i learned in a class was to use a grid. basically you draw a grid (measure it out evenly with a ruler) ontop of the source image, and do the same (albeit lightly) on your canvas. it sounds like extra work, but it's really helpful for lining things up :3

Ciel, that is one dynamic drawing! Did you finish it? If you did, show uss!

I am so bad at finishing drawings. I can take on a drawing and work until my hand can no longer hold the pen, but then I find it hard to find the same kind of drive to finish it!
Also, I decided to change the character in the image. I didnt really like the lanky figure I had drawn before. And this seems to fit into the theme better!


Still lots of shading to do!
