Q-tea's guide to grayscales and gradient maps

Postby Q-tea » Sun Jan 04, 2015 7:59 pm

      For anyone curious of how it's done. Hope it comes in handy, if you decide to work with color, it's pretty much same concept. Except instead of gray shades you'll use colors.

      I work in Paint Tool Sai, but you can do this in any program. Just find the lock tool for layers.

      Maybe eventually. Right now they are rather a mess ^^;;;
      I've been dropping gradients in for a year now and some are duplicates that I didn't realize I had, ect.

Will do! I really want to help make more items and recolouring is kind of annoying. I still might do it manually but for simple gradients this method seems cool. ouob

omg same for me, especially when Kyle updates his brush packs. ;;
