I really like jasmine, though I guess I just like flowery teas in general. Rose black tea and earl grey are my favourites!
I don't like lavender though. D:<

I have a friend who likes fruity tea, like strawberry, apple, or cranberry.

I like most teas unless they are bitter.

Mur... why would you do that to yourself. o - o Also matcha is great but the powdered stuff is gross. I kind of like matcha flavoured stuff rather than the tea itself though.

@/kyndreth
Yes that's what you normally get with cheap tea bags. It's so gross. Some people buy tea leaves instead of bags but i'm lazy haha. c": Usually the ones from my Marks and Spencers are fine though. It's got a food chain store where lot's of packaged food are sold and it's pretty decent. Do you have anything similar nearby?

Diana
Both types are great! Though I'm more of a leafy tea person, drinking roses are weird. Fruit tea is actually really nice, especially when you add a bit of honey. There are some local tea shops in Taiwan that make really good warm fruit tea. *v*

@Lemon
Just drink lighter tea, I hate the bitter taste too. I was told that English Breakfast Tea was bitter but it really wasn't. Maybe my tolerance was just heightened by the fact I grew up drinking Chinese tea. xD

@tenshi
you don't UNDERSTAND, IT TASTED AMAZING.
like some fruity bubbly herbal pop thing that exploded with flavour in my mouth! it was too refreshing! delicious! amazing!

apparently if matcha is prepared poorly, it results in an extremely bitter taste?

by the way guys, you can't store tea for more than 8 hours after its brewed, its unsanitary.

@mur
I mean it sounds really good but why would you give yourself hives??
Yea but matcha itself can be a bit bitter, though I've never drank extremely bitter matcha anyway.
Also cold tea that's meant to be warm is so gross. >_>

I like certain matcha's and I find if I add warm or steamed milk it makes it taste sweeter.

I try not to let the tea bag sit too long. I find the temperature of the water can make a difference to the taste as well.

What!? You can't let tea sit more then 8 hours? What about sun tea? Sometimes we've put it outside in the jar and let it sit...although in truth that might not be for 8 hours. Does it grow bacteria or something? I use filtered water, does that make a difference as far as keeping sanitary?

@Lemon
Mmm milk tea!!
Yea definitely, normally I prefer it warm but cold tea can be nice too depending on the taste of the tea itself. Also I normally try and not leave anything for 8 hours, regardless of if its water or tea because it makes me think that bacteria multiplied inside... rip

Dream
Ooo what kind of ingredients do you like adding?

@cheese
the longer you leave tea out in any open environment, it gets less fresh and there's a chance for bacteria to develop no matter what. the only except is tea that has been brewed at cold temperatures.
the maximum temperature that sun tea gets to when brewing is the perfect condition for bacteria to develop, which is usually why you need to boil it again afterwards.
using filtered instead of tap does lower the chances, but it's still.. there's risk, anyway.

@tenshi
i mean, they're just hives. im not gonna die from them.

Sheesh, so much to read, sure, mur, I'll praise you. Your perseverance and willingness to sacrifice yourself to the taste of deliciousness is praiseworthy.

Ughghghg... tea is complicated!

@kyuun
due to the climate i am in, it's extremely easy for mould or bacteria to cultivate :P (bacteria cultivation to reach the heavens loolololol)
so i am rather averse to unclean food.

...
i think i have trauma from instant noodles. i left out a cup once half-eaten before going on a trip. when we came back, my mom forced me to eat all of it as punishment xD and there was visible mould on it too---
oh boy im gonna retch, brb.
