Studying from real life and people you admire is usually the best way to go! You get to observe how colours work IRL and how your favourite artists exaggerate or dull down those tones Though my general rule of thumb is to never pick neon colours unless it's an accent, and hue shift towards yellow with highlights and purple/blues for shadows~

Oh nah, the only drawing I took off was the cover art from 2017 (feels like forever) because I wanted to swap it out for something new~ :3

Thought i'd share some of my assignment that I clutched this week~ (Literally drew 40 of these + added base values in one day, 10/10 do not recommend) but it was kind of fun to try choreographic a fight scene~

The task was to draw 75 of power puff girl storyboard frames based on a script they gave us (in no way is this connected to official power puff girls) + create evil doppelgangers based on the PPG, I chose copy cats

Definitely! actually the fight scenes were incredibly vague, so it was up to us how it went down until something turned the tides. It was a lot of fun seeing other people's designs because some deviated much more than I did!
