After stumbling around, I came across this art section, and thought it wouldn't
be a bad idea to post a poem of mine here. I hope that those of you who take a chance to
read it, will enjoy my poem.
Tragedy
Let me die
It's time to say goodbye
No more lies
Fall asleep and close my eyes
Because it's okay to let go in the twilight
Tomorrow won't be any different than tonight
And when I see it's you
There's the time that I remember
It lasts longer than forever
The passionate roses that cover my skin
Stretch and bury, cover me within
You don't hold your power over me
At least not here, from what I can see
Fragrances of candles carry me away
Here I lie, transparent as you made me feel
Without any shame, any remorse
I would die for him, just to keep his heart
You never would have let me marry him, not even from the start
What better place to have him than heaven, if not earth?
He was a dream, a beginning, and an eternity, he was my first
Up in the clouds of crystal and mirth
We'll celebrate our love's rebirth
I was promised to another, and yet we met on the balcony at night
He smiled at me, and fed me poetry
Our families were at war with one another
We could have never been together
What would I do? What should I do, my love?
For, I want you so desperately
I want to run away with you tonight
Marry you with the priest
Who would tie us together, as a painter with his masterpiece
I'll keep my love secret, though you're the only one who knows me so well
Although, I'll continue to hear the sound of each wedding bell
Take my hand, I want my life to be yours
Not given to another who only wants my dowry and name
My family would have you killed, if you proposed to me
Yet i need to see you, come to the masquerade ball
Cover your face, and answer my call
Without your love and heart, I don't know what I'd do
My heart beats within yours, and yours within mine
I knew from the first moment, we were to intertwine
Who knew that we would meet with such tragedy?
What has asked us to experience this traumatic destiny?
There's a fire suffocating the old pristine church
It lies in the distance of an old shadowed birch
You'll find her inside an onyx colored coffin
Asleep in her bed, from the lover's toxin
The drapery is tearing amongst the stained glass window
The tapestry is flowing, but for how long, no one knows
He'll grab his blade, after witnessing her death
And pierce it straight into his flesh
Together forever was his promise
We'll share a grave, We'll share our lives
As when we first met, We'll always be intertwined
Our families will look back on this
And see what they should have let be
Now, they will notice this was our only way to be free
They'll be forced to live with their grief
The blood on their hands
The sorrow that spreads throughout the lands
The pain that will spread far and near
Will be the story everyone's children will hear
