Move your Body: Exercise & Healthy Living resolutions

I'm not very good at maintaining an exercise log or logging into a fitness site or even exercising period but I am good at logging onto Windlyn regularly so what if we had an exercise thread in our healthy living section on Windlyn to log our progress and keep us accountable?

We can record simple stuff we do - such as walking or stretches or more vigorous like hiking or biking or swimming or sports that we do each day or week. Maybe aim for 10 stretches before we log on to Windlyn to motivate us? Then record you did your stretches/exercise (and get feathers for that post plus have accomplished a goal). Would that help keep us committed to moving our bodies? What would help motivate you?

What are some of your ideas to get moving? What stretches help you?

Exercise doesn't just have to be about getting sweaty!
Invite a friend to take a walk, enjoy their company while benefiting your body.

A suggestion: roll the dice to determine how many sets or minutes or amount of exercise you do. (You choose what you do).

Keep track of how you are starting out so that by the end of the Year you can see how much stamina you have built up!

For example: Can you only do 10 stairs, without feeling weak or breathless, to start? Will you be able to do 100 at the end of the year? Let's find out!

I took my advice and I did arm lift stretches which help stretch the muscles in my back and release my neck. Now I am off for a 5 minute walk.

I went to the gym today. I have been sick for a long time, but am getting back into weightlifting. :D
