oh yeah lol i'm aware. part of the reason i haven't made a trip over there yet is because of the whole foreigner deal, i've heard a lot of stories about it from both sides. it's really intimidating, lol.

i'm hoping that if i make a good effort to learn the language and continue studying the culture i won't come off as just another american tourist who's there with these skewed expectations of what japan is >n<

So the deals are out there for flights... you just have to be flexible when you travel etc...not sure what deals there are for hotels once you get there.

I kinda forgot that its crazy expensive for people to visit Japan if they're not in Asia or something. I don't think I could survive a 10hr flight.....

Maro: I have barely kept on top of people gifting to me and me returning the same. I will send you a couple things though and no need to send back, just keep for your charity. It is easier for me to send it to Maro then looking up your mule.

So.. japanese who don't live in japan? I mean, the japanese are usually famed for being polite and kind, stuff like that, but alot of them had the expression of, um, how do I describe? reluctance to talk to us?

I DID MEET, A REALLY NICE GUY IN JAPAN THOUGH! More specifically in Nagoya, we were walking over huge hills with alot of luggage to get to our place, and we decided to ask this random dude who looked like he was trying to break into a car. Turns out he could speak english and he was kind enough to drive us to our destination.

Also, I don't think I've returned some of your letters, sorry! Those PMs just got buried when I was bombing Shiro with them.
