According to Greek and Roman Mythology, Venus was born of the sea foam of Uranus's blood after it fell into the ocean. I always liked to think that Venus's dress would be made of or resemble something like sea foam, so tada! Roses and crown are present to represent her status as queen (er, goddess) of love and beauty RIP Lyanna Stark
