One of the ways you can attract people wanting to trade items is to post a new quest thread (aka items wanted) in the Questing & Collecting Forum --> you can check my own personal questing thread in my signature (below) to get an idea! It doesn't have to be as fancy as that (with all the spoiler tabs and meticulous organizing lol), you can just post pictures of the items you want and then boom pow!

Once you've post that (and it'd be good to add it to your signature), people will check it out and let you know if they've got one of your quest items and if they're willing to sell it for feathers/trade for other items.

Some users are also generous enough to gift you some for freebies (woohoo! who doesn't love a freebie).
