Murmurlade:


The curtains open to a dark stage, a dimmed light spot lighting the endearing hero of the play, Murmurlade, carrying their pillow, looking for a place to rest their weary head.

snow flakes start to fall softly from above and murmurlade draws their scarf closer around their neck to ward off the chill in the air.

From another corner enters Akuyi, who had just returned from their nightly search through the forest for magical items.

Both are drawn to a growing glow in the window of the closed toy shop. As they peer through the window, they see the glow is coming from a display of snow globes whose beautiful dancers remain poised but motionless. Murmurlade is drawn to the dancer in a pink tutu and crown.

Soft music plays as the Christmas fairy, Vivianne, descends from above and waves their flower wand over the window.


As she does, the dancers in the snowglobes begin a graceful dance of the snow fairies.

From inside the store, the store keeper, khadijacandy, attracted to the music, joins in the dance until she notices the onlookers in the window. She opens the door and summons them in. Using her large candy cane as a cane she points to a couple chairs for them to sit.


And then begins a story of the land of the snowglobes plight.
