Wacom is good
Wacom Bamboo
is coo
That's what I have, big drawing space and it wasn't too expensive.
They start getting expensive when you start to look at the ones with screen and fancy features n stuff

Bamboos are nice, and (I think) currently the cheapest wacom tablets.

Products from Kanvus, Genius, VT, Monoprice and Aiptek also seem to be cheap-ish. ^v^
Eh... you really can't compare with wacom..... because if you've heard of graphics tablets, you've definitely heard of wacom.
