ya, I didn't realize I was low on my quick cooking oats and had the regular kind so my crisp on the apple crisp came out a little chewy. I like the quick cooking because they make it crunchier.

Scrambled Eggs but instead of milk, I used sour cream. So good! Supposed to make it creamier! Though he puts the butter in before mixing the eggs, I did it differently, I mixed the eggs, put the butter on the skillet. Still good!

that's a first - never heard of putting the butter with the eggs nor using sour cream...I wonder if that will make me decide to like eggs? (I am not an egg fan).

It gives it a bit of different taste. I need to put more than I did. I only tasted it once when I was eating it. It gives it a sour cream taste.

Noodle salad with pesto.

Contained spiral noodles, green pesto, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds, pine nuts and rucola.

Mash potatoes, grilled chicken, coleslaw and mushroom gravy.
Messed up on the mash-- didn't add enough salt. It's a neat simple recipe of salt, regular pepper and coarse black pepper, butter, and fullcream milk though! Also, potatoes.

oh yum! You made me hungry!! ( I don't add much salt in my mashed potato's especially if I am serving them with gravy).

Oh - learned something when googling rucola: "Eruca sativa is an edible annual plant, commonly known as rocket salad or arugula; other names include rucola, rucoli, rugula, colewort, and roquette"
- we generally call it arugula here in the south west.

So I made a simple fried rice - scrambled eggs, diced onion, garlic and carrot with some onion salt and soy sauce.

Tonkatsu for my lil bro! He loves anything and everything fried so I changed it up a but and made this instead of fried chicken.
