thanks
I was going to make it from scratch too, but I wanted to save myself the trouble.

But I am trying to learn how to use piping bags. So, I'm very happy with how the icing came out on the cupcakes.

Did you cook the batter with the marshmallow middle in it or did you pipe it in afterwards? I can't believe how perfect they came out!

With any kind of filling, you put it in AFTER you bake them.

I baked the cupcakes and then, after they cooled, I cut out the center and piped the creme into it. If I had the right tip, I could have saved myself from cutting holes in them. I could have still just took the piping tip I used, I could have, but I didn't want a big hole in the top, my intention was to cut out the center, fill it, and then put that piece back on.

If you baked it into the batter, idk what would happen. I would assume it would spread completely throughout the cupcake and make the cupcake turn out not so well. Or something. Idk, I haven't tried and don't plan to test it out.

I'm wondering if I could make a thread just for me to post the recipes and stuff since I forgot to reserve a few posts. It'd be like a companion guide lol. All the recipes there, and here be the conversation about it.

Idk if I'd be allowed to or not....

Be great if I get confirmation.

probably not. Wasn't planning on it.

If I come up with something, then maybe. But I do plan to make some kind of sweets for Christmas.... Tbh, it's probably going to be Christmas themed cupcakes, but this time using the star tip for the frosting. I love the star tip.

send us pics when you are done!

Are you giving them as gifts? I saw containers for cupcakes in the store. Maybe put one in that and a bow or ribbon on the top or something with one of those cut out tags attached (Old Christmas cards are great for cut out tags). Or attach a prepackage tea bag to it? Hmm if I was good at cupcake's I might actually do that (I am not very good at decorating though).
