That's the way I do them too! Is this a thing? I never heard of anyone else eating them like that. LOL

I can't remember when or why it started for me. Perhaps leftover rice and hot dogs in the fridge and out of buns? I cut them up in little pieces.

I cut them up in little pieces, too! xD And then drizzle ketchup on top like I made a five-star dish.

I'd eat this as a kid because my family was broke, and now I continue to eat it as a broke adult. xD But it's sooo yummy.

Exactly the same! I thought I came up with it. I guess I just stole a kind of old family recipe then? LOL

Hot dogs aren't so cheap any more... nothing is really... sigh

Such a good family recipe. xD I think I'll make more when I get home. =w=

And yes, nothing is cheap anymore (and I always opt for the cheapest things). I usually get the same few items when I go to the store, and to watch their prices gradually increase kills me inside. x-x

"Yeah just roll it out to a 12in dough" they said. I did the classic pizza dough toss to stretch it instead and this baby stretched. So... Stuffed crust it is. Cheeeeese. Pepper Jack and that fiesta blend.

Is hotdog with rice that uncommon @_@?
It's a standard breakfast item here - usually served with garlic fried rice and a fried egg.

I don't think it's a dish here (as far as I know). More like just something to eat when there's nothing else to eat. xD

Last thing I made is coffee this morning. I made a tuna sandwich for dinner last night.

I see!
Meat + fried (garlic) rice + fried egg is a quick dish combo, usually for breakfast xD

My siblings enjoy hotdogs, sliced, fried, then sauted with like onions, garlic, and ketchup? Not a big fan, but you guys might be interested.

Made a pasta with tomato, tuna, basil, and parmesan.

I want to try both the breakfast version and the version your siblings enjoy. Hmmm.... I could probably try it when I get home. =w=

Also, your pasta sounds amazing. *-*

That was a common meal for my fam in Texas. Altho my mom grew up around the US, mostly in Illinois, Indiana, Arizona, then her final HS yrs in Texas, so I'm not sure which area it comes from. I think it's a typical tight budget meal in the US, though. Certainly not sold in stores or restaurants premade (outside of maybe Hawaiian restaurants?).

And yes, I also had mozzies and some garlic bread with last night's stuffed crust pizza.

It turned out so good! Extra good cuz I almost had a fiasco. We like adding a bit of hot sauce to our red sauce, and I forgot I got a bottle where they forgot to top it with the inner plastic to make it drops... And blobbed quite a bit of Louisiana onto it :cheer: Luckily I dabbed enough away.

Adding hot sauce to the red sauce sounds like a good idea! I bet the pizza tasted amazing with that nice little kick. :3

A few years ago, I had a spicy pizza with sriracha drizzle from Donatos and it packed some heat and had quite the kick. I was also really high, so the heat didn't bother me too much. I devoured like 85% of the pizza in one sitting lol.
