The Hall of Heroes is the absolute best place to run contests from. After all, the undefeated will automatically be immortalized here.
What is this forum for?
- If you’re looking to make an art, banner, writing, image based, or any other hobby based contest, or participate in any of the above, you have come to the right place!
I don’t want art or OC though...
- If you want to make a game (for guessing, dice rolling, or any other forum-dependant games) please set up shop in the Game Room. If your game will have a concrete, short term end, you may post it in the Hall of Heroes.
For avatar related (aka dress up) contests, please navigate over to the Fashion Show.
If none of those forums seem to be what you want, feel free to run an event from your thread in Hangouts! Or, if you feel like your kind of contest doesn’t fit anywhere at all, you can always suggest a new forum category!
I don’t have anything for prizes though, is it still a contest?
- You don’t need prizes to make a contest! Some join in for the glory. Some join for the thrill of some friendly competition. However, keep in mind that users may participate more if there is some sort of prize.
Some things to keep in mind
- You may specify rules and restrictions for your contest. However, if they fall outside Windlyn’s Rules and Terms of Service, it will be up to you to enforce them.
- There are a few things you may not ask for or include in your contest, strictly including but not limited to:
- Nudity, sexually explicit, or provocative images, art, photographs, text, or other work.
- Real life/off site currency, or services.
