well, observatory is no longer an option because we got it and I believe it says pengwing mansion on it to confirm it is not the place - hmmm, better double check the name on the item - and I don't think any other backgrounds have appeared.

The only thing I am curious to is that the wristwatch says UC original and if Uncle Carlo is a "less then honest person" does that throw us off the scent? But I have not seen any item for Junior at all....

I wouldn't go too much on the wristwatch and the "less than honest person" if the evidence clears his name. There hasn't been an item for Jr so he's more suspicious anyway.

Yeah, I think Junior didn't know better and decided to use the cookies to play croquet - maybe he thought he was playing golf and knocked the cookies out the window like golf balls...? Or used the cookies like hockey pucks and hit them through the croquet arches?

Maybe he just couldn't reach them, used the croquet set to bring them towards him enough to grab and take them and hide them in the library.

Or maybe Junior set them up for a little party in the library and then was too afraid to tell anyone when Lady Pengwing got hysterical and called in the inspector detective!

<I went to see the Inspector myself and he was a little intimidating at first but he said he would take my "accusations" under consideration and let me know his findings. Do you think he is going to gather the pengwings in like the Detective shows all do (re: Columbo/Ellery Queen/that Angela Lansbury series that escapes my memory/Father Dowling mysteries/ Death in Paradise/etc) to reveal his findings?
