 Wahhhh he took a few people out with him! Poor guy! I wonder if he ever tried it again or that was it.

Ya, it is crazy what some of these Winter athletes do, the challenges they have to win are mind blowing...other then diving, what swimmers have you seen have accidents like that? Do summer Olympics even come close to the speeds the Winter athletes do?

He did, but "Bogataj returned to ski jumping in 1971 but never duplicated the success he had before the crash and retired from the sport competitively..."

I've seen some cringe worth accidents in the summer games (bicycle and running crashes), but the speeds are much lower. Then again you wear less and lighter clothing too.

I missed the ice skating... It makes me sad. The ice skating is my favorite part of the Winter Olympics.
I did see the cross country ski archery. I didn't know that was a thing.

You can probably catch a replay of the skating... the gold and silver contender's in Men and women's is worth watching.

I probably should see if it is streaming somewhere. Probably tomorrow because it's almost midnight here and although I feel awake now, I'm going to be crashing soon and I don't want to fall asleep during it.

SHHH! No spoilers!

Did anyone watch the streaming or clips of the skating practice sessions? The girl who won did 5 of the "twirls" in a row in practice but I didn't see her do that in her final performance. But I bet she incorporates it into future competitions.
