Never heard of Dungeon Meshi, but Kitchen Princess had a similar gimmick of the mangaka sharing recipes from the series! Oh, Code Geass was one I didn't see as a kid but saw a few yrs back. It was awesome. Genuinely felt like a "well played" and "smart" storyline haha.

Gurren Lagan has to be a top contender for my favorite anime to date. No one in it feels like a flat character made for the other characters to shine. The sheer spectrum of ages they drag the show across is breathtaking, and while there are some fanservice moments, for sure, they're more tongue-in-cheek gags for stress relief in a very heavy plot than filler.

I really want to watch Spy x Family, it's supposed to come out on Netflix tomorrow, but I don't know in what context or how much of it.
