Just wondering if any of you all have pokefarm? I am not on it often because they banned me and I try to apologize again for 100th time. I'm trying to get back in the mumbo.

I had one of the stricter and ruder admins ban me. I tried to apologize nicely and formally but it would convince him. A few months later I tried again, I got contact with a different admin...was much nicer.

This is the first I've heard of Pokefarm. (I love the Pokemon games.) What did you do to get banned? Just wondering...

Two accounts. I stopped using the other one. I even asked if they could just bring one account back.

Ah, probably violation of TOS. It should have been handled on the registration end (not allow you to register more than one account), and not be a moderator call. In hindsight, they probably could have handled it better like just deleted your 2nd account and given you a warning, but with huge sites, there are probably thousands creating multiple account...

Lucky me and my sister and my brother doesn't share the same ip. That's the tricky thing. What if it wasn't the same person, but a sibling? Luckily me nor my brother got banned either because of the different ip's. They shouldn't have to have a member tell a mod that they have a sibling who shares the same ip. Double accounts are tricky. But I don't even know how it works.

They're usually keyed to email addresses, but some are IP bound by themselves or in addition to email addresses--it depends on how they want to control things. There's a fine line between giving members the freedom to have fun and leaving holes for opportunists to exploit and ruin things for everyone else. It's an ongoing battle that's constantly evolving.

They remade their site. q.pokerfarm.com was the new site. But I don't know what you mean by promo code

When your at the join screen, Theres a spot for a promo code. I checked their facebook but not seeing any code. I was looking in the forums and someone says it gives you something or whatever. I dont know. I guess I'll skip it since no one knows XD
