ya, so I am kinda sad that I am quickly losing my interest in Dr.Who. I briefly thought the Dr was going to get a new companion

I'm not interested in watching the 12th Doctor. I think I may just rewatch Tennant's Doctor.

Star: if you saw this Christmas episode how is it
[+] SPOILER
that River does know of the previous Doctor (Matt Smith) but has no idea of this new one? I mean, she travels back and forth through time, and how is it he knows as the other Doctors that she will "die" soon after having dinner with him at the singing towers? Or is this episode why she later goes back and gives him her power so that he can regenerate?

Ugh I have to go back an watch that earlier episode again.
[+] SPOILER
. ..the episode where we first meet archaeologist River. I was wondering if the planet/singing towers have ever been mentioned previously. Like maybe she name dropped it among some other places shes been to? The first River episode would make sense and would explain why the planet/singing towers resonated with the Doctor.
I think you're on to something about this being the catalyst to the Doctor regenerating. I had forgotten how that all went.

Wondering if this is the last we will see of her, sure made it seem like it was suppose to be. Really want to watch the River episodes again and try to better understand her timeline.

I thought the first episode we meet River is
[+] SPOILER
the tennet one where they are in the library and the people become walking skeleton zombies in space suits. repeating their last thoughts. I think I will probably have to go back and watch them again...

Yes it is.
[+] SPOILER
I was forgetting it was a two-parter. The next episode is her final episode as far as we know in her timeline.

I'm going to watch them in
[+] SPOILER
River's timeline order.

I wouldn't know where to start to watch it in River's timeline. Especially since it jumps back and forth.

But in the last episode she seemed more "shallow" then her usual sparky, clever self. However, LOVED how she changed her clothes with one spray!(Not sure how that was possible)!

The other thing I don't get is we know in the first episode we see her in, she has a sonic screwdriver
[+] SPOILER
but in the most recent is when she actually GETS the sonic screwdriver to replace her sonic trowel? So that would mean every time line that she had the sonic screwdriver would have come after her meeting with the latest Dr.So how does that work!

DR WHO!
DOO-WEE-OOOH!
I really don't like Matt Smith, urgh. Christopher Eccleston is my favorite by far. <3 Paul McGann did a great Doctor as well. :D
Anyone but me that likes the old series as well?

Tennant was a good Doctor, but his whole Messias-complex throws me off.
